AP - iSatelliti S200 - Naòs System
Standard and made to measure furnishings and full-height AP glass partitions characterise the interior design of UniFor's latest project in the heart of Rome. The new headquarters of this global strategic-managerial consultancy firm reflects the company's high performance criteria and commitment to excellence: contemporary offices in terms of style and function, with spaces dedicated to collaboration, individual work and corporate meeting.
The offices are located on the fourth and fifth floor of the historic Palazzo Valadier, built in the first half of the 19th century and listed by the Soprintendenza Speciale Archeologica Belle Arti e Paesaggio of Rome. The interiors of the building, which are also listed, cover a total surface area of 1,200 square metres and is distinguished by its sobriety and elegance, offering an agile and dynamic working environment that easily adapts to the flexibility required by the contemporary office. Designed to foster collaboration, the layout is organised into seven major areas: reception and waiting room, meeting rooms, administrative team rooms, consultants' team rooms, partner rooms, and lounge rooms.
The aim of the project was also to offer maximum environmental comfort and containment of consumption with high-tech automated systems to maximise natural light, air exchange and acoustic comfort. Hence the choice of UniFor's AP double-glazed partitioning system which, thanks to its technical characteristics, guarantees very high levels of soundproofing and acoustic insulation. The AP extra-clear glass walls by UniFor have black painted aluminium profiles and were installed in all working areas and meeting rooms. The corridors were also fitted with special 'pocked' type frosted and transparent glass doors that fit into the existing wall structure.
One of the client's main requirements was to create office spaces characterised by sober elegance and minimalism but at the same time able to encourage a feeling of sharing and tranquillity among users. Free workstations on which consultants can work formally or informally in a fluid manner: for these areas UniFor supplied the Satelliti S200 height-adjustable workstations in different configuration. custom made precisely for spaces where different work modes coexist. Naos System tables of different sizes were chosen for the meeting rooms. Designed by Studio Cerri & Associati, this furniture collection, which won the Compasso d'Oro award in 2004, brings a sense of simple discipline to a working environments, where technology is all around yet never feels overpowering.
A successful project thanks to the synergic relationship between UniFor, the client and the Diele Kerciku Architetture studios, author of the architectural project and artistic direction, and DEStudio, which followed the project management, the design of systems and technologies, the works management and safety coordination.
