From November 9, 2023, the Molteni Museum presents "Ingenious Wood“. Aldo Rossi and the Molteni Group, a retrospective exhibit showcasing the creative genius of architect and designer Aldo Rossi and his monumental partnership with the Molteni Group.
The exhibition, designed by Ron Gilad with the scientific collaboration of the Fondazione Aldo Rossi, brings together furniture, drawings by Aldo Rossi and the Molteni Group technical offices, documents and testimonies from the architect’s collaboration with Molteni&C and UniFor.
Visitors will have the chance to discover a 20-year-long collaboration, that still lives today in these “pieces of furniture or architecture”, through a selection of iconic furniture, such as the Teatro chair and the Parigi armchair, able to express the autobiographical lyrical and playful thoughts of Aldo Rossi.
The exhibition showcases historical pieces from the Group's archives, current production items, and reeditions from the ARCHIVIOUNIFOR collection, including the Consiglio tables, Cartesio bookshelf, and Museo chairs.
