MDL System
The new headquarters of J+P Immobilien, a major Viennese real estate developer, is hosted in Telegraf 7, a former telegraph office in a 19th-century Wilhelmine-era building in the heart of Vienna, just a short walk from the Museum District,completely renovated to create a modern office complex.
The central element of the interior design is the solution used for the two double-height halls of the piano nobile, where the former telegraph rooms are located. Conceived as rooms-in-a-room, the box-like volumes are structured on two levels linked by spiral staircases.
MDL System has a leading role in the interior design project: the executive offices, conference rooms and enclosed task areas on the ground floor, as much as the open-space workstations on the upper level, are all furnished with MDL System desks and meeting tables in various shapes and sizes, characterized by structures in painted aluminum, tops in laminate, and black partition panels.
