The Lend Lease Corporation, an Australian multinational property developer, has moved into its new headquarters on the 14th floor of Tower Three of International Towers Sydney. This prestigious skyscraper complex by Rogers Stirk Harbor + Partners imposes itself on the urban skyline with its striking technological connotations. Conceived based on the latest sustainability criteria, the building is an experimental ground for technical solutions aimed at the improvement of the interior environment and the well-being of its occupants. The same approach was taken for the design and furnishings of the Lendlease office interiors. The meeting tables, in various shapes and sizes, and the open-space workstations, with fixed or height-adjustable top, all feature an exclusive structural solution consisting of a single central column (two in the case of the larger tables), complete with cable housing and firmly anchored to a steel base plate fixed below the raised flooring. The clean, minimalist design of these components combines ease of use with lightness of form.
