Satispay, the fast-growing mobile payment company founded in Italy in 2013, moved from its first Milano’s headquarters to the new ‘Primo’ building in the Isola district.

The architectural project, designed by Stefano Belingardi Clusoni, Founder of Studio BE.ST, is an icon of urban architecture, characterised by a combination of structural and transparent components, underlined by a regular concrete grid and strong diagonals.

"Primo" has eight floors, for a total amount of 8,500 square meters; its spaces can welcome more than 700 people. The communal areas, the cafeteria in the basement, the conference room and green areas on the ground floor and terraces are designed to promote sharing, team building, and employee well-being.

The interior design, also by BE.ST, is furnished with UniFor products, standard and custom-made, and Citterio’s ones. It reflects Satispay's ambitious and modern vision; the founder and CEO, Alberto Dalmasso, emphasises the importance of this new chapter:

"The space represents the essence of Satispay: ambitious, dynamic and, at the same time, responsible and smart. We are here to stay and keep growing. The new 'Primo' building will be a symbol of our commitment, and I hope it will become a sign of a positive future."

UniFor supplied the entire furniture for Satispay’s headquarters: a wide range of products for both working and common areas, with a special emphasis on the PRINCIPLES collection designed by OMA. Over 600 workstations, 36 meeting rooms, a 70-seat conference auditorium, spaces dedicated to breaks and kitchens made to design for each floor: the modern and functional design of UniFor and Citterio pervades every corner of the building.

As a tribute to the city of Milan, the meeting rooms take the names of its neighborhoods, UniFor's furniture supply project here goes beyond standard products. In some meeting rooms there are tables designed according to the specific dimensions of the spaces, in other areas, the Naòs System tables, design by Studio Cerri & Associati, can be found. The space is organised in line with a share-and-collaborate philosophy: no executive or private offices were planned, the focus was on open-plan workstations and meeting rooms.

Flipper Bench, design by Pagani and Perversi, was chosen as the operative workstation, together with the PRINCIPLES collection for the meeting areas and the seating in the common areas, in white and red fabric, reflecting the distinctive colours of Satispay’s brand.

The company Citterio Spa, part of the Molteni Group together with UniFor, produced functional furniture, such as lockers and containers from the Bridge collection. Phone Booths, single or double, from the C-SS collection, guarantee small areas of privacy and individual work.

The basement, designed according to the principles of sharing, team building and leisure, houses a large multifunctional room, not only intended for breaks but also for recreational moments for the Satispay team. Tables and soft furnishings from the PRINCIPLES collection are integrated in a comfortable environment, surrounded by a boiserie with a mirrored background and elements in red lacquered finish, produced by UniFor to design.

The supply is completed with a customised reception desk, incorporating part of the Satispay logo, in a red lacquered finish and white top.
